OPEN DOORS IN THUIN

The Open Doors day at school(10 March) was once again an enjoyable meeting for parents, teachers, friends, students and future students from the school. Everyone was impressed by the numerous exhibitions end activities proposed by the students.

The Comenius project presented a lot of posters about hidden talents of our region, it should be persons likely to be famous, but unknown as national or international talents so far : neighbours playing a music instrument in a local band, skaters, students writing novels, retired teachers who are also painters… a whole range of potential ‘artists’…

What surprised the parents mos t was the secret talents of their child to create these wonderful posters… often during their free time after school .

The next topics of the project were also presented, and especially the fathers were impressed by the Olympics challenge to be performed in each school before the end of this schoolyear. We are now eagerly waiting for records to be broken…
